Diet Tips

  • Eat organic, raw vegetables and fruits whenever possible.
  • Try to get 2-3 servings of fish a week.
  • Try limiting your beef intake to no more than once or twice a week.
  • If dieting, cutting out carbohydrates after 3:00 pm can jump start your weight loss and keep your body from storing those calories as extra weight.
  • Read labels.  You will be amazed at what you can learn about your food.  If it has a bunch of artificial ingredients, additives and preservatives, steer clear!
  • Eating 5-6 small meals a day will help boost metabolism and can help with blood sugar levels and cravings.  Try snacking on about 20 almonds, a cup of greek yogurt, a celery stalk with natural peanut butter, a smoothie with fruits and some protein powder or a boiled egg.
